POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the management and coordination of minor construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects, focusing on the coordination and execution of personnel moves across all system. Assures adherence to scope, schedule and budget for projects.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates and manages minor renovation and facilities improvement projects, focusing on personnel moves. Ensures projects are carried out safely, estimated and budgeted accurately, completed on schedule and within budget.

Familiarity and compliance with IS Asset Management policies and procedures related to the movement, ownership, and tracking of IT assets including but not limited to attestations, asset tracking system updates, decommissions, encryption workflows. This position will partner with IS Asset Management team members on a regular basis.

Takes ownership for coordinating all aspects of Children's Health personnel moves, including furniture modifications, IS equipment move planning, packing materials, and contractor scheduling. Also manages asset tracking requirements.

Develops healthy relationships with clients to ensure projects are properly coordinated, communicated and carried out. Works to minimize disruption of ongoing operations.

Assists with process enhancement and standards development across the department

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3-7 years of related experience Required

Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare environment. Preferred

Experience as owners representative highly recommended. Preferred

Experience in managing multiple projects required. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills required. Preferred

High level of familiarity with layout of facilities and staff. Preferred

EDUCATION:

Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or other pertinent field or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management preferred. Graduate level education and /or professional license preferred.

LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS:

Certified Project Manager Preferred
