POSITION SUMMARY:

This job is responsible for assisting in the conduct of feasibility studies, formulating system scope and objectives, preparing program specifics, and developing methods and procedures for the department.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Develop and implement new systems, system changes, upgrades, and affected interfaces.
  • Research system change requests, formulate system scope and objectives, and prepare program specifications to develop or modify systems in support of the business process.
  • Develop customized reports for both internal and external customers.
  • Analyze user's problems, determining and recommending optimum approach to resolving problems based on system capabilities and user needs.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and interface specialized stand-alone systems
  • Participate in integrated testing for major updates to the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Clinical Information System (CIS)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of job related experience, required.

EDUCATION:

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required..
