Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst will serve a key role as part of the Corporate Services Division of Revenue Cycle and Support Services team located in the home office in Dallas. This person will be responsible for data collection, interpretation and analysis, and deliverables in varying mediums. The Senior RCM Operations Analyst will utilize a variety of CHST data sources including but not limited to: EPIC, Clarity, Workbench, SQL Databases, ACL, and PDR in support of the analytical process. The analyst will use the data from these CHST-wide Systems to build tools, comparisons (ex. Excel files, Access files, and PowerPoint Presentations) for the Finance, Operations Specialists, PMI, and Hospital A-Teams. The analyst may be responsible for tracking ongoing initiatives, coming up with new opportunities, or gathering data so that others may identify opportunity. The candidate will have joint primary responsibilities in support of Revenue Cycle initiatives and CHST initiatives. This Analyst position will also participate and support other PMI initiatives from time to time as needs dictate, including, but not limited to MPI, Case Management, Clinical Operations Consulting, and general PMI activities.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilizes systems to create routine reports to meet user needs, audits and analyze data to verify quality and data integrity

Completes daily/weekly/monthly reporting/assignments and strives for 100% accuracy

Ensures the integrity, integration and stability of production support for Grand Central, Prelude, Cadence, Referrals and Welcome applications

Provides on call support which may include after-hours

Routinely communicates with department directors, managers, system managers and end-users regarding application/system issues, status of projects, and resolutions to troubleshooting problems

Develops and updates project plans for assigned projects and associated project management responsibilities including creating and maintaining projects in EPM, logging project time in EPM, and providing regular status updates

Assumes leadership role in providing guidance and direction for the design and implementation of reporting database structures

Facilitates and documents current state assessments and future state design activities in support of assigned projects

Supports Learning Systems Group (LSG) in design, development and execution of end-user training

Troubleshoots and tracks issues for system

Mentors other System Analysts and provides guidance for more complex and difficult assignments

Formulates system scope and objectives to develop or modify complex system designs

Clearly communicates with staff members regarding a variety of issues related to troubleshooting, project management, ongoing production maintenance, or implementation activities. Produces clear, concise documentation and contributes to training materials

EXPERIENCE:

Two to three years of experience in either consulting or the health care provider industry focused on data management and analysis or similar robust analytical experience. Required.

Basic statistical knowledge, along with Revenue Cycle Operations experience would be a plus. Preferred.

EDUCATION:

Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experiencepreferred.

EPIC Report Writer, Lauchpad, Crystal Reporting Certification required
