Manager Employee Health and Wellness

Manages operational, educational, financial, and related activities of Occupational Health and Wellness services. Provides nursing care, health education and guidance for employees. Manages comprehensive programs that include first aid; care and assistance to employees who become ill or injured at work; a hospital-wide immunization program; and required annual TB and fit testing. Monitors productivity and other measures and reports results to leadership.

Manages all aspects of the Occupational Health department

  • Maintains and updates employee health policies as mandated by OSHA and CDC guidelines. Works with cross-functional leaders to update organizational policies as necessary (e.g., Infection Prevention and Control)
  • Manages the CHST Respiratory Protection Program
  • Ensures Occupational Health representation in Infection Prevention/Control Committee, Safety Committee, and other committees as appropriate/required
  • Supports Medical Staff services and Volunteer Services by providing required TB testing and immunization services. Supports the health check process to facilitate the onboarding of new hires as well as contractors, vendors, and other non-employees
  • Supports the CHST wellness program
  • Provides Occupational Health support for team members across CHST, including multiple hospital campuses and other locations
  • Manages staff working at and supporting various locations around the health system


Five years or more experience in Occupational Health Nursing –Required

At least 5 years of experience in managing an Occupational Health department – Preferred


Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


Registered Nurse -Required

Certification in Occupational Health Nursing - Preferred
