Performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct and indirect patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Patients seen in the outpatient or ambulatory care setting are assessed according to their presenting diagnosis, status, need, and the defined assessment components of the service by which they are being seen. Assessment may be conducted during a face to face examination or during a telephonic encounter. Documentation of findings, referrals to other services based on assessment findings, and appointments for reassessment are planned and completed at the time of the visit. Works effectively with members of the health care team in the provision of care to patients and families.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. No weekends or holidays
