Responsible for planning, developing and executing sustainability and energy conservation initiatives across Children's Health System of Texas (CHST); promotes environmentally and economically sustainable practices related to the services provided by CHST.

Oversee and manage the CHST Sustainability Council

Maintain relationships with other healthcare entities and City of Dallas

Develop and implement environmentally responsible cost savings initiatives

Collect and report data to show progress on sustainability programs

Identify areas for improvement and take steps to promote organizational sustainability

Collaborates with internal departments to seek waste stream reductions and sustainability measures.

Develop and deliver interactive employee sustainability and waste stream training / information


3 years of experience managing sustainability or energy programs or equivalent required.

2 years of experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.


Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience preferred.


Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification preferred.

Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred.
