Position Summary

This position is responsible for completing Patient Meal Orders and delivering them to the patient

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare patient trays according to specified order. ( includes condiments, cold and hot items)
  • Delivery of completed patient order to room; Following all required protocols including isolation and hand hygiene.
  • Conduct pick up of dirty tray carts on all units as needed
  • Stock tray line supplies as needed.
  • Deliver floor stock supplies to units as needed.
  • Clean, dry and mat trays as needed; Wrap silverware as needed. All side duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

Licenses & certifications

Must obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire, required.

Experience

Minimum 6 months- 1 year of related experience.
