Responsible for the provision of routine patient accounting activities to facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement and optimal customer satisfaction
Performs all routine billing and collections activity to ensure account integrity and appropriate reimbursement
Resolves routine customer service issues and assists with questions on reimbursement.
Participates in team-oriented process improvement initiatives
Demonstrates compliance with performance and quality standards
Demonstrates compliance with third party contracts, guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures
Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.

High school diploma or equivalent, required
Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience, preferred
Licenses & Certifications
HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative, preferred
Proficient computer skills
Various software packages including Microsoft Office and word processing programs, required
