POSITION SUMMARY:

Processing high volume of invoices for timely payment. Scan and attach all invoices into system; resolve invoice issues.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process high volume of invoices into Lawson within 24 hours of receipt. Scan and attach all invoices into Lawson at invoice entry.

Review and resolve invoice discrepancies by contacting departments / outside vendors.

Review and work issues on aging report, RNI report and daily Smart Notes.

Review system generated reports for check payment accuracy, match invoices to checks for review.

Make folder and file all check backup in AP files. Open mail, stamp and distribute to each AP clerk. Box and move files each end of year. Request Treasury Operations to change vendor information when needed. Request stop payments when needed. Pull information for audit purposes.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1-2 years of job related experience Required

Experience with High Volume full AP processing Preferred

Experience with data entry, 10 key by touch, communication skills Preferred

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent Required
