POSITION SUMMARY:

This position manages employees with responsibilities over information management, applications, systems and/or infrastructure including but not limited to planning, development, information security and training and go—live support for Community Practices using Epic.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages personnel assigned, including recruitment, selection, hiring, training, reviewing, promoting and administering disciplinary actions.
  • Develops short and longer range plans consistent with the information needs and priorities of the department.
  • Manages department-related project implementations within all lines of business responsibility; delivers on-time and within budget projects to completion; and maintains effective and timely communication to all parties involved in responsible projects.
  • Develops detailed project plans to include but not limited to hardware specifications, database build and design, testing, training, and all aspects of communication; assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and is responsible for determining and acquiring resources needed.
  • Provides consultation and support to project managers, groups, and user in developing applications, and is responsible for review and acceptance of all specifications.
  • Manages staff to documented objectives. This includes project related work, training efforts, and support; effectively monitor and report all status information in a timely manner to senior management.
  • Participates in development of application systems planning, development, and support across multiple lines of business; and perform other duties and special projects as required.
  • Reports to executive and senior management the status of projects and system support activities.
  • Ensures adherence to company standards and policies.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects required

Minimum of 2 years of management experience, including staff management, business model planning and execution, and the development and management to performance quality indicators required

System-level knowledge of programming, OS operations, database query, and data mining experience preferred.

EDUCATION:

Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
