Epic Analyst - MyChart/ECLink/Haiku - Canto

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reports to Group Manager within IT Clinical Application Service. Responsible for identifying, evaluating, analyzing, and recommending changes in support of assigned applications / systems, including ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting. Supports the planning, design, development, build and/or configuration of supported applications / systems; leads and/or coordinates conversions, application / system testing and documentation of system procedures; participates and provides input in training design and development and assists in training execution related to assigned projects; provides go-live support, and serves as primary point of contact for on-going production maintenance/support and troubleshooting.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides primary production support for MyChart including: Patient family access support; troubleshooting issues with login and information consistency between the patient record and EMR; provider support for messaging, results release, and bulk messaging; department message routing for MyChart messaging.
  • Provides primary build support for MyChart Questionnaires to include: Questionnaire build, hyperspace navigator build for department specific department questionnaires, Questionnaire Message routing, flowsheet and smart phrase build for provider notes.
  • Provides primary customer support for EpicCare Link to include: Support for referring providers, telehealth providers, school nurse program, and HIM ROI customers; imports patient to provider group lists for Texas Birth Defects and other research organizations as directed by HIM
  • Provides primary build support for Haiku/Canto to include: Updates and provider support for Epic updates to Haiku/Canto; troubleshooting connection and access issues;
    build and support for custom navigators and Epic Monitor via Canto.
  • Data courier analyst supporting MyChart, EpicCare Link, Home Health, Healthy Planet, and Care Everywhere.
  • Upgrade and testing support. Testing rotation for Epic integration testing upgrades and quarterly SU MyChart, EpicCare Link, Care Everywhere and Haiku/Canto
  • Documentation and change management support.

EXPERIENCE:

7-10 years work related experience required

EDUCATION:

Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
