POSITION SUMMARY:

This job is responsible for all donations and materials management as instructed by the supervisor. Accepts and process donations from customers. Maintains clean and clutter free workspace to include Child Life storage rooms. Also requires the operation of large flatbeds and carts. Makes deliveries on and off campus whether it be to Children's locations or other locations in the DFW area.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive incoming materials, supplies, and donations delivered to CMC. Implement proper packing and storage of the items and discarding items as needed. Maintain infection control, compliance and safety of all materials in the Child Life storage areas.

Customer Service: Greets customers and thanks customers for donated items. Escalate safety issues, customer complaints, or other identified concerns to supervisor. Facilitate the completion of the donor form.

Ability to meet physical and non-physical demands as outlined in the job description is an essential function of the job

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1-2 years of job related experience required

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training beyond high school required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Light - Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly and may require walking or standing to a significant degree, Carrying constantly - 2/3 or more of the time and Lifting/Exerting Constantly - 2/3 or more of the time.
